The Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) is seeking a virtual Design and Marketing Intern to work with the Community Outreach Committee. The intern will assist with the development and implementation of programs, and be a collaborative member of a small, yet agile committee. The intern will work closely with the team to generate plans to creatively market upcoming programs to reach a wide array of students/recent graduates to attend FAPAC programs.
Projects may include: Updating the website, developing relevant content to promote programs such as the National Leadership Program – Student Event, design marketing materials, help with planning the annual career fair, and other duties as assigned by the Community Outreach Committee Chair.
Training and special skills (preferred):
- Hard worker, creative thinker, solution-driven, thinks outside the box
- Excellent organization skills, self-starter
- Design and social media content development experience, proficient in Microsoft applications, Adobe InDesign Suite/InkScape/Illustrator (must have access to these applications already)
- Can be any undergraduate major, but have demonstrated interest in program management, design, arts, marketing, media, etc)

8-10 hours/week (term starting Monday, May 3 – Friday, August 27, 2021), including regular team meetings.
A successful intern will receive $1,000 professional development stipend.
