Topic: Understanding Your Federal Benefits for the New Retirement Climate

This presentation is designed to provide employees with a thorough understanding of the different components of their employee benefits and how these benefits will impact their current and future financial objectives. Employees will learn the differences between the CSRS/FERS, and CSRS Offset systems, TSP and the best strategies now and in retirement, the FEGLI program and its financial impact on both your paycheck and retirement check; and what role Social Security plays in each retirement system. Employees will learn how to estimate their future retirement annuity, TSP annuity payment, as well as future FEGLI program costs.

Darlene is a certified Estate Plan advisor and focuses on problem solving surrounding retirement income strategies, insurance planning, budgeting, and estate planning. In addition, Darlene also serves as Public Relations Liaison and as a trainer for Affordable Benefits Solutions, Inc. Darlene has committed herself to ensuring employees are educated and informed about their benefits and how their benefits play an integral part in their financial planning. She is an advocate for helping people to align their values and dreams with their actions to help reach their financial goals.
