The National Coalition for Equity in Public Service (NCEPS) calls for an end to the partial government shutdown.  The six national non-profit organizations that promote the participation and advancement of minority and women managers and employees in the Federal Government provided letters to the United States President; Majority Leader of the United States Senate; and the Speaker of the House to immediately end the shutdown and let hard-working civil servants get back to work.

NCEPS is coalition of Federal Affinity groups that collectively work to provide equity in the Federal workforce.  NCEPS members included National Image Inc., Blacks in Government (BIG), Federally Employed Women (FEW), Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC), Society of American Indian Government Employees (SAIGE), and FEDQ (LGBT).

FAPAC is a 501 (c)(3) nonpartisan, nonprofit organization representing the civilian and military Asian Pacific American (APA) employees in the Federal and District of Columbia governments.
