Q. What is the theme?
The theme for the observance of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May 2019 is UNITE OUR MISSION BY ENGAGING EACH OTHER. This year's theme is a continuation of our "Unite" series and focuses on leadership and engagement to advance the AAPI community. Read the full Press Release.

Registration is open online to anyone. You do NOT need to be a member to register.  Please enter the information as it should appear on your name badge. A confirmation of your registration will be sent to your email address for your record.
Students and Veterans can attend the Student and Veteran Workshops for free with registration. Students and Veterans have access to the Exhibition Hall & Career Fair to meet agency recruiters from various federal agencies including NASA, USDA, EPA, FAA and the military services (Army, Navy, US Coast Guard, etc).
Q. What is the registration cost?
The regular cost for regular attendees is $895. The cost for exhibitors is $1250. Students and Veterans can attend the free Student and Veterans programs on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Meals and training workshops are not included for Students and Veterans.
Q. When does registration end?
We will accept registrations and payment at the door until the NLTP has started. If you are waiting for approval, please let us know when you expect to pay. If you have any questions or issues, please email registration@fapac.org.
Q. How do I ask my supervisor for approval to attend?
Requesting approval to attend a training doesn't have to be a difficult task. Download our Approval Toolkit to get the conversation going (includes pre-filled SF-182, NLTP flyer, and sample justification letter)!
Q. What events are included in the registration? 
When you register for the full program, you can attend all of the workshops and events in the agenda including:  Welcome Reception, Uniformed Services Awards, Civilian Awards, Executive Coaching, and other networking events.
Q. What is Executive Coaching?
Executive Coaching is a "speed mentoring" opportunity for Federal employees to meet with a senior Federal manager to receive personalized career advice for 20-minute appointments during the week of the NLTP. Coaching offers direct, reciprocal interaction that workshops and plenary sessions may not provide. Questions must be limited to professional advice. 
Q. How can I make hotel reservations?
Please reserve your hotel room here.  Free internet is included with each room. Make your reservation by the deadline to obtain the government rate for federal attendees. Government per diem rate is available until April 22, 2019 or when the FAPAC room block is filled. Please check the local hotels if your requested days are not available. Read the cancellation policy with the hotel reservation. If you have problems please contact nltp@fapac.org.

  • Complete this form to suggest a speaker. Suggestions are due January 31, 2018 and speakers will be notified no later than February 28, 2019.
